Obama-nation or Abomination? (Part 1)
“It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around the neck than to face the punishment in store for harming one of these little ones.” -Jesus Christ
“If [my daughters] make a mistake, I don’t wan’t them punished with a baby” -Barack Obama
I am on my knees begging you to consider the ramifications of voting for Barak Obama. Many of you know that I am not one to jump to conclusions and usually I am diligent to research the issues before I hold to a particular position- and even when I choose a position, I only hold it to the extent that it is rationally justified for me to hold it. After much research I am convinced that the weight of evidence demonstrates for us that a vote for Barak Obama would be nothing short of (if not worse than) voting for Adolph Hitler or Joseph Stalin. You might think that this is extreme, but it is my duty, my obligation as a human agent made in the image of God to stand up against any kind of evil especially the sort of evil Obama represents. The record and declared intentions of this man might possibly contribute to and advance the worst genocide the world has ever known. I am reminded of the populous living at the time of Hitler, many of whom were so-called Christians, who did absolutley nothing to fight against his treachery. Indeed many of them did not consider him to be treacherous- either because they were ignorant or they were treacherous themselves. This is not unlike what is happening today. People are undoubtedly duped by the apparently refreshing image that has been painted of Obama by the popular media. This image of so-called goodness or what is being touted as much needed change for the better, my friends, is a lie from the pit of hell. David Fredosso writes in His book discussing the rise of Obama that “He promised at a Planned Parenthood event in July 2007 that “the first thing” he will do as president — his top priority for the nation — is sign the Freedom of Choice Act, which would erase every federal and state restriction on abortion, no matter how modest. His top priority, again, is to re-legalize partial birth abortion under all circumstances, abolish all laws on informed consent and parental notification, and eliminate all state restrictions on taxpayer funding of abortions.” I could include more quotes from my research to show that Obama is one of the most ardent advocates for all levels of abortion- including partial birth abotion. If this is true, it is a most grievous abomination and good men and women everywhere who desire to advance the purposes of the Living God (the source of all that is true and good and beautiful) must stop and weep at the extent of our sin. We must not only weep but we must act. Edmund Burke once said, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” In the endless battle between good and evil, it is seldom the numbers that determine the outcome of the fight. Often, the side for the good and right has beaten overwhelming odds. If evil wins, it is simply because the good men are not willing to stand up and fight for what they know is right. Folks, the moral conscience of the people of our nation is undoubtedly troubled. Our depravity is becoming increasingly evident as our culture drops deeper into the pit of relativism which calls evil good and good evil based on its own standards and not upon the unshakable foundation of Truth. Many in our culture are corrupted to the point that they are unable to recognize abortion as the utterly heinous, despicable, evil, action that it truly is- a literally murderous act that is being perpeterated thousands of times every single day, in America.
In this post I am again sounding the alarm and attempting to do something to halt the advance of evil. Indeed, I hope that this post is itself an offensive, against the gates of hades for which we know will not prevail in the end. Let it be known that I could definitely make a thoughtful, logical, cogent, and robust case against abortion. However, the space here does not allow for a well reasoned argument articulating the moral depravity of abortion. I am simply asserting here that abortion is ethically, philosophically, spiritually, and psychologically bankrupt, and I have no problem whatsoever putting the burden of proof on the forces of darkness to defend otherwise. However, if you need a wakeup call, and my guess is that you do, just as I do regularly, then you must visit Abort73. There you will find a very thorough and virtually irrefutable presentation and defense of the case against abortion. Also, another great place for resources is the website of the organization Stand to Reason.
Folks, I am pleading with you to be very thoughtful about what is at stake. I want you to consider the potential reality that if you actually vote for any candidate who intends to make abortion a high priority in his/her administration, that you are actually voting for an individual who stands opposed to God’s specific and general revelation which condemns abortion. A law that is written both in Scripture and on our hearts. A law that clearly forbids abortion and testifies that it is one of the worst kinds of murder- the crime of crimes. For those of you outside of Christ, the man or woman not redeemed by His work on the cross, you will by your very nature suppress and distort the law of God and His truth. I do not therefore expect that you will honor the desires of the God you don’t believe, because you are actually unable to do so- and in most cases your pride will cause you to deny that abortion is really wrong. But those of you who claim to be in Christ, I beg you to make your stand and do what you must in your sphere of influence to halt the advance of the evil one and instead advance the cause of goodness in Christ. I urge you to love the Lord your God with your whole heart and soul, and mind and strength, making every effort to be effective ambassadors of our King Jesus, knowing that your work in the Lord is not in vain.
For those of you who have committed or participated in an abortion, despite the fact that you have broken God’ law, just as we have all broken God’s law (their is none righteous before Him) you can still have hope because of God’s amazing grace. Our only hope and our only freedom from the guilt and shame that results from our sin is to come to Jesus for salvation from God’s just wrath against all that is wrong. You do not need to spend the rest of your life with the burden of unforgiven guilt. The Bible says abortion is wrong, but it also offers a source of true forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ. God will forgive us of all of our sins- past, present, and future, if we will come to Him according to His conditions and repent and believe. Don’t forget that Jesus paid it all, all to him we owe, sin had left a crimson stain, he washed it wight as snow.
The following is a comment written by a gal named Patricia in response to an article by Ed Lasky in the American Thinker, August 15th 2008:
Would you consider abortion in the following four situations?
1. There’s a preacher and his wife who are very, very poor. They already have 14 children. Now she finds out she’s pregnant with their 15th! They’re living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you recommend she get an abortion?
2. The father is sick with sniffles, the mother has TB. They have four children. The first child is blind, the second is dead. The third child is deaf, the fourth has TB. She finds she’s pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you consider recommending abortion?
3. A white man raped a 13-year-old black girl and she became pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?
4. A teenage girl is pregnant. She’s not married. Her fiance is not the father of the baby, and he’s very upset. Would you consider recommending abortion?
If you would have recommended abortion in any of these situations, you should know that…
In the first case, you recommended killing John Wesley, one of the great evangelists of the 19th century.
In the second case, you recommended killing Ludwig Von Beethoven, one of the most famous musical composers of all time. (He also became deaf at an early age).
In the third case, you recommended killing Ethel Waters, one of the nation’s leading gospel singers.
In the fourth case, you have just recommended killing Jesus Christ.

human being in good conscience can vote for him.

Hi randwagner
I really enjoyed your article titled “Obama-nation or Abomination?” You are so right! I am very concerned about the direction our nation is headed. I truly feel we are rapidly heading into the last days. Only 20 years ago we would have never believed we would have a man with the back ground of Barack Hussein Obama as a serious contestant for the presidency of this nation. This just shows the great deception that Satan has perpetrated on our world. My uppermost desire is to reach as many lost people as possible with the message of Jesus Christ who
alone can snatch them from the Fires of Hell.Keep putting out the truth. the program below is my contribution to reach the lost. May God bless all you do to reach the Lost. God Loves them all they are just deceived by Satan’s great deception.
